Insular text, from the sixth century.

Written by Finnian, most certainly a British ecclesiastic active in Ireland. His cult was spread in Ireland and Scotland (of Clonard †549 [AU 549.3]/ of Moville †579 [AU 579.1.]/ Ninian of Whithorn).
